Ingredients – What you need
(Fruits can be swapped out)
1 orange
1 banana
1 grapefruit
1 pomegranate
1 kiwi
1 pear
1 apple
small bunch of white grapes
small bunch of blackcurrant grapes
Allergy-friendly syrup
citrus juice
lime x1
100g sugar
lemongrass stalk, sliced in half
1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
This syrup is optional depending on your tastes of flavours and more.
For the fruit salad, you need to separate the fruits, and mix them all into one bowl. Make sure you squeeze the relevant juice out of the necessary fruits which you have chosen. Make sure you don’t leave the pips in the juice.
Remove the seeds from the pomegranate and then slice the banana accordingly. This will make it easier for you to consume. After you have done this, peel another slice of zest from the life using a vegetable peeler, and this will help you to avoid any of the white pith that does not suit everybody’s taste buds.
Grab the grapes
Grab the grapes and cut them in half, slicing the kiwi and adding it into the bowl. Then, you need to chop the pear and apple, and a pour a little bit of lime juice over the apple, helping it to retain its colour. Now, you are at the final hurdle of creating your allergy-friendly dessert which will help you kick off your elimination diet.
