Lifelab Testing’s Nutritional Therapy Aftercare
Last Updated: 7th August 2024 · Written by Kate Young
At Lifelab Testing, we strongly believe that individualised support and advice are of great importance, especially after you have gone through the allergy testing and intolerance testing process. For this reason, we have collated a team of nutritional therapists, all of whom provide aftercare for customers who have purchased from our Complete Testing Kits (Complete Body or Complete Intolerance). But what can our Nutritional Therapists do to help you?
We understand that upon receiving your allergy testing results, it can often feel a bit daunting and you may realise that you need a whole new diet. To some, this is not a surprise, but often, there will be a determination to understand your results further.
The First Impression
When it comes to interpreting your results, we offer a free 30-minute consultation with a Nutritional Therapist, as they talk you through your results. What often happens, is that the customer (you) needs a little more help to understand their results, and that is why we provide the option of purchasing more consultations.F
What can you expect from your results interpretation
Having a results interpretations session with one of our nutritional therapists is one of the very best ways to get the most from your allergy testing. Our own Nutritional Therapist will ask you about your symptoms which may be caused by an allergy or an intolerance, and why you decided to take an allergy or intolerance test.
They will then go through your results with you, and help us to answer the questions which you may have about your results. Our results interpretation will do the following:
- Enable you to understand how your symptoms relate to your test results
- Explain any changes which required to your diet
- Help you to prioritise the changes to your diet
- Guide you on staging changes over a long period of time
- Give you ideas of substitute foods
So, what happens after you have had your results interpretation?
Well, the nutritional therapist will send you an email with our Lifelab Testing Nutrition Guide, and you may also be able to receive information sheets, recipes and supplement recommendations.
What about the follow-ups to your results interpretations
At Lifelab Testing, we do believe that having follow-up sessions to your results interpretation is highly recommended. This session allows the nutritional therapist to monitor your progress against the recommendations set out in the initial results interpretation session.
A follow-up session would usually take place 4-6 weeks after the initial session, as you have most likely attempted, and almost completed your elimination diet.
This allows for dietary changes to be implemented and gives adequate time for symptoms to change. You may want to look at a bundle of sessions allowing you to monitor and your nutritional therapist to monitor symptoms and dietary changes over a period of months.
If you would like to take an intolerance test or are interested in allergy testing then please do log on to www.lifelabtesting.com. We currently have an AMAZING sale on which you can take advantage off as your eyes are opened to a new happy and healthy diet.
